Nestled in the lush jungles near Punta Mita, El Cora Animal Sanctuary is more than just a refuge—it's a second chance for Mexico’s wildlife. Led by the passionate and knowledgeable César, the sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of injured and ill animals, many of which have suffered from habitat destruction, illegal wildlife trade, or human interference. Some will be released back into the wild, while others find a permanent, safe home at El Cora.

Our recent filming day wasn’t just about capturing stunning visuals—it was about telling a story that needs to be heard. Through a fully immersive 360° virtual tour, high-quality stills, and engaging Instagram content, we brought the sanctuary’s mission to life. The shoot had some incredibly close encounters with the local wildlife, including feeding curious coatis as they scurried up to investigate and watching wild Mexican pigs emerge to interact with their caretakers.

César’s deep knowledge of the animals and his passion for their well-being inspired us to create content that not only showcases El Cora’s incredible work but also encourages visitors to donate and help protect Mexico’s wildlife.
